We invite all - in ways that work for your parishes, towns and contexts - to join in a day of prayer for Ukraine. (See below some of the ways we have included) Please also invite your local ministerials and other faith groups to join together with us.    We will be sending out a Zoom link to wardens/licensed clergy for Friday March 18th that will remain open over the noon hour so that if anyone would like to join us and pray, they would be welcome there also.

Ways to participate:

 - At 12 noon we designate time officially for a time of prayer to be set aside by as many as are able.

- There is a common "liturgy of the word" which is being shared among all the groups who are interested and which we are happy to share with anyone. This liturgy may be altered by groups so they fit into their tradition more comfortably.  - Those churches with BELLS are invited to ring them at 12 noon on that day.

- We invite churches to put in place prayer vigils – in their buildings and/or online by zoom (or other) for the day.

- For those who fast, we encourage a day of fasting on that day.

- Each parish/denominational head/interfaith leader encouraged to notify various media (Newspapers, radio, etc.) in order to let the public know and to invite them into the day of prayer

- If groups are interested and it is possible to meet outdoors to draw attention to this joint prayer day, we encourage that also.

We look forward to hearing and seeing all the ways in which you and your community will gather in prayer for peace.
