DESCRIPTION:The Diocese of Islands and Inlets looks forward to hosting a na
 tional event celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Priesting of Women in
  Canada on November 24 and 25 in Victoria\, BC.  Programming and a celebr
 atory Eucharist will be held on these days.\nRegistration is now open.\nPl
 ease support anyone coming from your diocese as you are able\, such as enc
 ouraging use of Continuing Education Funds for those who can access them.
   We aim to have participation from across Canada which means travel cost
 s will vary considerably.  \nThere is money for bursaries that has gener
 ously been made available through grants from the Anglican Church of Canad
 a and The Anglican Foundation of Canada.  An application for bursaries ca
 n be found here.  Successful bursary applicants will be notified by Augus
 t 1.\nThe registration fee is $210.00.  Participants are expected to make
  their own travel and hotel arrangements.  We have negotiated corporate r
 ates of approximately $200/night with three local hotels.  This rate may 
 increase between now and the November event.  All hotels are within a ten
 -to-thirty minute walk from the conference venue.  Please call and let th
 e hotel know that you want the corporate rate negotiated by the Diocese of
  British Columbia for the nights associated with the event (23\, 24\, 25 o
 f November\, 2026).  The three hotels are: Quality Inn Downtown Inner Har
 bour\; Best Western Plus Carlton Plaza Hotel\; and Inn at Laurel Point.\nT
