St. Laurence Anglican Church invites you to join them in participating in the Episcopal Church's Lent Madness.

St. Laurence has joined the online community of people having fun as they learn about 32 saintly men and women, ancient and modern, who have followed the way of Jesus.

Here’s how Lent Madness works: 32 saints are placed into a hockey-tournament-like single elimination bracket. Each pairing remains open for 24 hours as participants read about and then vote online to determine which saint moves on to the next round. 16 saints make it to the Round of the Saintly Sixteen; eight advance to the Round of the Elate Eight; four make it to the Faithful Four; two to the Championship; and the winner is awarded the coveted Golden Halo.

To participate in this friendly tournament of saints, subscribe  to Lenten Madness at:

Your subscription will enable you to receive daily emails (weekdays only) providing information on the saints and a link to vote for your favourite.

The participation of Canadian Anglicans is crucial to support the bid of the Rev. Simon Gibbons, an Inuit priest and Anglican missionary, who will be battling for his place in the Saintly Sixteen, on Friday, March 13th.
